E46 M3 Front Differential Bushing Tool

The (2000-2006) E46 M3's differential is mounted using 3 bushings. 2 bushings are in the rear on the differential cover and 1 bushing is in the front. The forward bushing specifically on the M3 model is awkward to remove because the bushing is inside the rear subframe and there is structure in the way of using conventional bushing removal tools. This tool does NOT remove the aft 2 differential bushings. There are plenty of generic tools that can get that job done. This tool is only for removing and installing the forward bushing.

This specialty tool makes quick work of removing and installing the bushing. Because this tool is custom built to this job, the pieces have lips and grooves to hold them in alignment. Most generic tools can move out of alignment as you use the tool, making the job more difficult and potentially causing issues. Our tool stays in place, making the job easier and less prone to error.
